"We love you… it’s okay to go… you were a good dog… you’ll be missed… thank you for everything." These are the heartfelt words Zane, the German Shepherd from "They Called Me Zane," carries with her into her heavenly new home. This book is a tender exploration of grief, love, and the enduring spirit of our animal companions. It paints a vivid picture of a heaven filled with breathtaking beauty, where Zane can run free, surrounded by light and endless affection. For anyone navigating the pain of pet loss, "They Called Me Zane" offers solace and a gentle reminder that our beloved pets are at peace, forever grateful for the love they received, and always remembering the sound of their name.
I love this story of zane's love for his family here on earth, but also his visitation to heaven. And the description that heaven, the description that's provided of heaven for children that might be reading this book.I think it was a very well written book. And so grateful that the Lord put it in Kecia's heart to bring such a book to the audience of adults. But even more so to the audience of children. I pray God's blessings over the influence of this book.

For a brief moment the other day, I thought I saw Zane running in the backyard. It was cold and windy, so it was probably just a bird or a leaf blowing across the grass. But in that split second...years after she passed, I could have sworn it was her. Moving the way she used to, joyful and free, chasing birds as if nothing in the world mattered.
Grief has a way of bringing our loved ones back to us in the smallest, most unexpected moments. And sometimes, those moments feel like a gift.
