Kecia Moore Jones, a proud California native, is the cherished daughter of Ronald and Joan Moore. A lifelong learner and passionate leader, Kecia earned her Bachelor of Science from Grand Canyon University and an Associate degree from Barstow Community College. Her career has been rooted in leadership, where her vibrant spirit, deep appreciation for life, and genuine love for people have consistently inspired those around her to strive for excellence.

 

Kecia is the beloved sister of Shante and Keith and has shared over thirty beautiful years of marriage with her husband, Alex. Together, they’ve raised four incredible children, each proudly serving in the United States Military. Kecia and Alex are also the joyful grandparents of three precious granddaughters. For eleven treasured years, their family was lovingly completed by their loyal dog, Zane.

 

Kecia finds joy in uplifting others, motivating, encouraging, and connecting with people from all walks of life. Her faith in Jesus serves as both her inspiration and compass, guiding her through life’s journey. She delights in traveling, reading, writing, and watching documentaries, and has a deep appreciation for learning about different cultures.

Kecia’s hope is that this book brings comfort and peace to those grieving the loss of a loved one, offering reassurance as they navigate life after loss. Long before penning these pages, she often imagined how meaningful it would be for others to hear Zane’s story and find peace in the thought that, someday, they might meet her too. And in that moment, they too could lovingly call her—Zane.
